The wonderful art of Jojit Lorenzo

In these moments where my soul is troubled and my normally ebullient self is unable to exit depression land, i find solace in the internet and scouring the web world with things that could lift my spirit up. Yes, my life's playground is the internet and it is pathetic. But even in my current hopeless stage, i still could not help recognize great art; art thats speaks to me, reminding me that it is better to keep on.

Such arts that i have recently found is made by actor and photographer/digital artist Jojit Lorenzo. I was pleasantly surprised that aside from his commendable career in theatre and television, this actor has the true sensitivity and vision of an artist. With these digital arts that he has showcased, one can see how an artist by heart really transcends genres.

His photography captures movements and moments that exposes the raw character of his subjects. His colors are subdued and almost surreal, giving ample focus on the message of the piece, never making the colors overpower his subjects and the essence of his photographs.

And he gives more to his photographs by fearlessly manipulating them, adding richer tones to his work, producing photoarts (as he calls them) that are outstanding and truthful and remarkably memorable.
